Welcome to Blockminer, a friendly SMP where diamonds and player shops rule the economy, and your base will never be reset. Instead, the world only grows in size as new updates come out.
Play with anyone, Java and Bedrock players included. The server has tons of custom features, including a command menu designed for Bedrock players. Simply use an emote to open the command menu.
Vanilla Plus
What Makes the Server Fun
Blockminer is not just a basic vanilla server. What's cool about Blockminer is that you can play it like vanilla if you want to. However, there are always new ways to progress.
The server is equipped with mcMMO, which adds skills and abilities that allow you to become better and better the more you play.
There's also AutoChop, where trees fall instantly, so there's no need to worry about random floating trees. This keeps the landscape beautiful and saves you a ton of time.
We also have a RankUp system that allows you to progress through the ranks, unlocking more abilities, more claims, and more stuff.
There are a ton of custom commands and features that, once you start using them, make it hard to imagine playing the game without them. Examples include inventory sorting, Super Breaker, Silk Touch spawners, Totems of Undying working anywhere in your inventory, /craft, /trash, /echest, and many, many more.
A World Without Resets
The Evolving World and Its Districts
At the center of the world sits Spawn City, surrounded by vast rings of land.
Each major update brings special changes. To make sure bases never have to be reset and the world always has new areas to discover, we separate major updates into rings that we call Districts.
Each District represents a different stage in the server's history, allowing the world to continue expanding without destroying what players have already built.
Player Driven
The Economy
The economy is powered by the almighty diamond. In the world of Blockminer economics, the diamond is the gold standard.
It is a central currency that does not feel the effects of inflation. Player shops dominate the market, and items are naturally priced based on their worth in diamonds. This creates a balanced economy and helps prevent corruption.
Lands and Grief Protection
Blockminer uses Lands for grief protection. Claiming can be as simple as running /l claim, or as detailed as creating separate areas, changing flags, assigning roles, controlling permissions, and managing mob spawning.
Keep it simple or customize nearly every part of your land.
Voting and Custom Altars
The Healing Springs, Wishing Well, and Obelisk are themed altars at Spawn. They use tokens earned by voting for Blockminer, the best free way to help new players discover the server.
Consecutive votes build a streak, improve altar-token odds, and award more Vote Points to spend in /voteshop.
What You Should Do
Jump into the Pit at Spawn. Claim some land, mine some diamonds, rank up, level up, create a player shop, and help build the community, or become a recluse in your own domain.
Whatever your style is, as long as you follow /rules, Blockminer is a great place to play.
